Where do I self-check in at the event?

The Sutter Club - California Room
1220 9th St, Sacramento, CA 95814

Make sure your team is registered for the event to be included in the following events.

Lunch Presentation (Noon-1:00 pm)
California Room

Legislative Meetings (2:00 to 5:00 pm)
These meetings are held in small groups, groups are assigned onsite.

Networking Reception (5:00 to 7:00 pm)
Meet back in the Sutter Club - Library Room

Is there a dress code for the event?

Dress is business casual.  The Sutter Club does not allow jeans, t-shirts, shorts, flip-flops, or tank tops to be worn indoors.

Please also note that cell phones should be turned to silent/vibrate mode upon entering the club.  Conversing on mobile devices is strictly prohibited in the common areas of the club.

Sponsor Attendee List

Sponsors will be given the full attendee list February 1st, weekly on Thursdays after that and one final list after the conference.  If you receive communication from any outside organziation about the attendee list, please know this is SPAM.  It is not a real offer.

Is there a hotel room block discount?

We do not have an event room block discount.  Please secure a room reservation at a nearby hotel of your choice using your favorite travel site.

 

Confirmation Email Requests:

Confirmation email may be requested to be resent by sending an email to [email protected].

Payment Receipt Resend Requests: 

You may request a payment receipt to be resent by sending a message to [email protected].

W9 Form Requests: 

You may request a W9 form to be emailed by sending a message to [email protected].

 

Cancellations, Refunds, And Substitutions

In the event that government regulations, social distancing, or any other act of God make it impossible to hold an in-person event, the 2026 Legislative Day will not take place.  Sponsorship fees paid will automatically be applied to the 2027 Legislative Day.  In the event that California MBA cancels the event, full refunds may be requested, in writing.  If a Sponsor chooses to cancel of their own accord, requests must be made in writing and submitted by February 3rd, 2026 to receive a 50% refund.   No refunds will be issued after February 3rd, 2026. All refunds will exclude the original processing fees.
