Registration & Ticketing
How do I register?
You can register online through our event site: https://my.cmba.com/events/lirc26.html.
Can I register on-site?
Onsite registration can be purchased at the registration desk the day of the conference.
Check-in opens on December 7th at 8:00 a.m., in the Conference Lobby
Can I register my team together?
Yes! Group registration is available. Each attendee must be added individually, but you can pay on one invoice. You may use the general registration link, https://my.cmba.com/events/lirc26.html
Do I need a badge to attend sessions?
Yes. A badge and paid registration are required for all conference sessions and Networking Lounge activities. All meetings should be scheduled with paid attendees only.
Is there a dress code for the event?
Dress is business casual or casual.
What is included in the registration fee?
- Enjoy buffet breakfast and buffet lunch on both conference days.
- Entry into all sessions.
- Entry into the Networking Reception and All Attendee Late-Night Networking event on December 7th.
Where do I check-in at the conference?
Utilize a quick and easy self-check-in process by printing your name badge upon arrival (Conference Lobby). And not to worry…we’ll have staff on hand to greet you and assist with this process. Check-in opens on December 7th at 8:00 a.m.
It is suggested that each attendee print their own badge or if one individual is printing for a group, please make arrangements to collect from that individual. (badge re-prints will be offered at a fee, $25)
There will be a charge for replacement badges ($25). Please wear your name badge at all times to gain access to the sessions, and both networking receptions.

I’m a speaker—do I need to register?
Speakers are complimentary. Once you complete your bio and headshot form, our staff will register you automatically.
There is a discounted room block link that will be shared in the confirmation email, these rooms are limited.
Where can I read more about sessions?
Details for each session are listed in the online agenda: my.cmba.com/events/lirc26/agenda.html.
Please check into your session at least 10 minutes before your scheduled stage time.

What time does the registration desk open?
Registration opens at 8:00 AM on Monday, December 7 in the Conference Lobby.
Are there networking opportunities?
Yes! The Networking Lounge is open throughout the event, but mosting on breaks and during meals. Don’t miss the Networking Reception on Monday, 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Conference Lobby and the All Attendee Late-Night Networking event from 8:00 – 10:00 PM in The Cove / Sandpiper room.

Will there be free Wi-Fi?
There is no free conference Wi-Fi. You may connect to the Hyatt network at your own expense or bring your own hotspot.
Is the event accessible?
Yes, the venue is fully ADA accessible. Please let staff know if you need additional assistance.
Is parking available?
Attendee parking is an additional fee, daily use onsite is $34.00
You may also choose to park offsite (across the street, easy walk) at the nearby city beach parking area. There is a pedestrian bridge that will take you right to the hotel. Entrance at Huntington St and Pacific Coast HWY, pay station and our event is just across the street
City Beach Parking Lots between First Street and Beach Boulevard for $15 per day.
Huntington State Beach extends two miles from Beach Boulevard south to the Santa Ana River on the Newport Beach boundary. Monday - Sunday open from 6:00AM - 10:00PM. Gates close at 9:00PM. For more information and rates click here or call (714) 536-1454.

Conference Registration Cancellation Policy:
In the event that government regulations, social distancing, or any other act of God make it impossible to hold an in-person conference, the 2026 Legal Issues and Regulatory Conference will not take place. Registration fees paid will automatically be applied to the 2027 Legal Issues and Regulatory Conference. In the event that California MBA cancels the conference, full refunds may be requested, in writing. If an attendee chooses to cancel of their own accord, requests must be made in writing and submitted by October 15, 2026 to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after October 15, 2026. All refunds must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected].
All refunds will exclude the original processing fees.
